I love the sound of my amp's power tubes cranked all the way up to "10".
But this is often too loud to use at home or even in a club. The THD Hot Plate power attenuator solves the problem by allowing me to crank the amp's tubes up all the way, but at a lower volume to the speakers. And it truly preserves the sound and character of the amp. The Hot Plate is extremely important to me every time I turn on my amp! |

When I was 17, I moved from rural Pennsylvania to Hollywood, California to attend Musicians Institute. I practiced and learned more about guitar playing in that year than any other year of my life. I continue to visit MI to give private lessons, seminars, and to get inspiration from the musical energy that is generated from a building full of passionate teachers and students. I remain addicted to the idea that music is not just a talent, but can be immensely improved by working at it. I still enjoy the work! |
